Why Construction Electrician Foundation?
Very few skills are as universally applicable as skills trades. As a graduate from the Construction Electrician Foundation program, students will have obtained essential knowledge crucial to becoming successful in their new career.

Why now?
WorkBC estimates a demand of over 13,000 jobs for electricians until 2022. With increased residential, commercial, and industrial expansion in British Columbia, there’s no time like now to begin your training in the Construction Electrician Foundation program at Vancouver Career College. And flexible class schedules, you’ll be able to focus more on your studies so you can become a vital member of the trades industry even sooner than you think!

Did you know that apprentice electricians in BC earn a median wage of $27/hr*? They also work in a variety of environments including construction, building maintenance, and administration.

Why Vancouver Career College?
To prepare you for such a dynamic field, our Construction Electrician Foundation program includes a practicum placement so that you can get the hands-on experience you need to become job-ready faster. Hands-on training will not only allow you to apply the skills and knowledge you acquired in the classroom, you’ll also able to learn industry tips and tricks as well.

Vancouver Career College’s Burnaby campus is also recognized as an Industry Training Authority (ITA) Designated Training Provider for the Construction Electrician Foundation program.
